Complex PTSD
Complex PTSD is not recognized by the DSM despite the fact that adverse childhood experiences clearly lead to chronic health issues and ongoing mental health symptoms. Any clinician with experience in mental health will tell you that childhood relational trauma and/or prolonged exposure to stressful events even in adulthood result in physical and emotional distress, mood instability, issues with interpersonal relationships, anxiety, a sense of loneliness, existential angst, difficulty sleeping and chronic illness like migraines, autoimmune or IBS type symptoms.

Resilient Minds was created for complex PTSD and chronic illness. The goal of treatment is to find and remove unresolved emotions through the body. Removing this charge from the body results in resolution of mental and physical symptoms.
