Spiritual Sickness/Lack of Purpose

We are living in difficult and complex times. In a divided world, many people hold polarized beliefs and the news and political climate is acrimonious. The pandemic was a trauma we survived individually and collectively and some people feel "stuck" in the same place they were three years ago.

Even in the best of times, life is both brutal and beautiful. We all face illness and eventually death. Existential angst, spiritual sickness and disconnection from self and others underlines much of what we label as depression or anxiety in Western medicine. We talk to our doctor for fifteen minutes and slap some Prozac on it.

At Resilient Minds you can work with your practitioner to discover the power of being fully present in your life. Mindfulness, embodiment exercises, dynamic psychotherapy and lifestyle coaching can help you find overall meaning and give you a sense of belonging to this world.
